Kate Ahn showcases her signature style on your favourite shoe designs
International design collective YUME YUME is the Amsterdam-based brand pushing the boundaries of footwear. Fusing together the worlds of modern art, technology and architecture, their collections effortlessly turn heads and take an outfit from 0 to 100. Founded in 2020 by Eva Korsten and Dave Hendriks, YUME YUME’s quarterly drops have become a highlight in the Glamcult office — so upon seeing this special collab with Kate Ahn, inevitably hearts were racing.
Described as a ‘tight edit’, the collection includes the brand’s three signature styles: the Fisherman boot, the Camp shoe and (of course) their iconic Love heel. Each show showcases a different work of Ahn’s, from the Mini Me piece to Laced and Nudles. Describing this collaboration, and Ahn’s work as “symbolising a way of self-expression that celebrates the pure beauty of who you are”, it is clear this match is one made to last.
The YUME YUME x Kate Ahn collection is available on March 17 and in select stores in the UK and US such as Terminal 27, LN-CC & WDLT117.
