A VISUAL ESSAY BY ALBA CAMARA

This series by Alba Camara is a raw and slightly ridiculous take on Barcelona, the most touristed city in the world, and maybe the most photographed city too. Somewhere between documentary and feverdream, the project captures candid moments that never make the postcards. From surreal street encounters to portraits of Nora Hausmann wearing prosthetic bruises by Clers Diaz, to tourists with peace signs and funny outfits… Alba’s work celebrates the humor, awkwardness, and spectacle that is everyday life.
