Amsterdam based DJ and producer Jarreau Vandal seamlessly blends hip-hop, R&B, funk, and then throw in a little Surinamese Kawina and Moroccan Gnawa for good measure. For this set, Jarreau brought out a live tumba, injecting raw, percussive energy to his set.
And if that wasn’t enough chaos, catch him at Zalando’s The Corner: a two-day takeover of Dappermarkt on September 12–13, where he’ll be teaming up with barrel organ legend Zico van Pareen (!!) for a collab that sounds made up but absolutely isn’t. The two will hit the block party on the 13th with a live set from 15:00 to 17:00.
