Nene H drops new single “Cradle”

As the second single from their upcoming album “Second Skin” – arriving March 27 – the track leans into the diaristic calling of the LP. In “Cradle,” the ride is not slow and tempered; rather, it offers a temp-heavy, deconstructed lure. Punctuated, measured “heys” announce the following female South-West Asian vocals anchored in their Turkish-Azerbaijani heritage. Seductress-like, the voices are enchanting akin to daring Nymphs attracting their prey. The many complexities and contradictions that arise through the jarring process of reconstruction of oneself are infused in the mutation of future bass, trancey synths, and deconstructed club. Synthetic but intimately raw, fracturing but adorned in cohesion, this rhythmic quest uplifts and liberates the mind. To be mesmerised is also to lean into the bpm. Shed your skin, reassemble yourself, and embrace your second one. If that’s not a manifesto of love.
