10 Years of Pop Trading Company

Founded in 2013, Pop Trading Company has been relentlessly rolling through the vibrant streets of Amsterdam for a remarkable and (officially acknowledged) decade! With a commitment to the culture, this group has managed to weave a bond within their community, establishing themselves as an integral and influential player on the scene. Proven to be a powerhouse in its own right, the brand has throughout the year taken on nurturing and supporting emerging talents, empowering the next generation. So as they proudly celebrate this occasion of reaching double digits, we can’t help but take a journey down memory lane, as we have seen the brand collaborating with esteemed fashion powerhouses such as Burberry, Liberty London, and Adidas, they have redefined the boundaries between skateboarding and high fashion, forging innovative crossovers that have left a lasting impact. However, ten years is all about their forward-looking vision which remains steadfast as this season they present their most extensive collection to date.

Pop is thrilled to collaborate with local and established artists who are also long-standing friends of the brand. The collection features renowned names like Rop van Mierlo with their iconic watercolours, Piet Parra and his team of birds, alongside Floor van het Nederend, Delta, and Joost Swarte. The launch is scheduled for this weekend on August 5, making it Pop’s largest collection to date.

The collection includes a diverse range of signature styles, fresh colourways in seasonal materials, new silhouettes, and graphical t-shirts that complement the AW23 Skateboard collection. There really is a moment for everyone, but a special mention goes out to the mustard and black panelled long sleeve, the brown and green stiped knitted cardigan for an oversized look and of course — the cream ‘butterfly’ utilitarian jacket. Make sure not to miss out on this exciting collaboration with some of the most talented artists in the industry!
