From Boulevard to the Beach

Luminous Materials
Silks, satins, and textiles with a luminous, liquid-like sheen dominated the collection. Models sauntered around the garden as their poolside-glam looks reflected under the evening lights.

The Wedding Collection
This was a season of celebration for Belgian designer, Meryll Rogge. After getting married in Northern Spain earlier this year, the designer looked to this life milestone for inspiration in her SS25 collection. Offering dramatic proportions, festive embellishments, and upcycled denim, The Wedding Collection explores the joys of festive dressing, reimagined for the everyday.
Bouquets and Rings
Wedding-inspired embellishments can be found on a number of pieces within the collection. Floral knits and beaded detailing nod to to sempre viva bouquets, symbolizing eternal love, while large, silver eyelets adorn an organza dress — a stand-out piece that references wedding rings — a quintessential symbol of matrimony.
Something Old, Something New…
Pieces of upcycled denim are transformed into fresh, sophisticated pieces: a white denim jacket and skirt set resembles a voluminous wedding gown, washes of black denim construct a reimagined LBD, while other pieces are patchworked together to create a peplum top, expertly balancing the fine line between casual and formal attire.

Lingering On
Designer Rui Zhou explores liminal spaces with Lingering On, RUIbuilt’s SS25 collection. Using soft fabrics, her signature cut-outs, and pearl adornments, Zhou’s pieces further explore the boundaries of the body and translates the poetic experience of liminal spaces into tangible designs.
Seaside Sensuality
Complimenting Zhou’s signature pearl detailing were a series of pieces– relaxed bubble mini skirts and slinky cut-outs tops, to name a few — adorned in reflective seashell embellishments. These details, along with models’ slicked back hairstyles (think: ocean siren-chic), gave a nod to the elegant fantasies of the natural world.
Signature Denim
Alongside a series of sultry cutout garments, this season’s collection offered elevated casual wear. Most notably, bootcut stone wash jeans adorned with Zhou’s signature web-like motifs.
