Amelia Gray Sets the Pace in PUMA’s Mostro

Bold yet effortless is what we’re aiming for this summer

The Mostro is back, and it’s the sneaker’s boldest revival yet. PUMA’s cult-favourite – once an underground gem for sneakerheads in the know – has stepped back into the spotlight with a wild streak and a fresh new face: Amelia Gray. PUMA’s Mostro sneaker has always defied convention – a hybrid of ’60s sprint spikes and ’80s surf shoes, wrapped in a silhouette that’s as much streetwear as it is subculture.

Gray’s unapologetic attitude fits the Mostro like a second skin – naturally channeling the Kill Bill bride energy, this is a match made in heaven. “Comfy, cool, and just really easy to wear,” she says. “It instantly pulls the whole look together.” Set against the backdrop of a vibrant cityscape, the campaign captures Gray in moments that blur the line between vulnerability and ferocity. The visuals unfold like a cinematic sequence – intimate, effortless, and charged with energy.

The “Pelé Yellow” Mostro stands out with its mesh upper, contrasted by black overlays and the signature spiked sole. The elasticated hook-and-loop closure adds a utilitarian edge, making it both functional and fashion-forward. Gray herself notes, “It has that perfect mix of retro and modern that makes any outfit feel more elevated.” Available from today, June 5th, the “Pelé Yellow” Mostro is more than a shoe – it’s an attitude.
