Burst City opens its gates again

More than a club night
September 13 at Melkweg

A city within a city. This Saturday, Burst City opens its gates again to the misfits Amsterdam has left in the dark. Not a club night, but a cultural manifesto. Curated by Parrish Smith and Mila V, with the ethos of energy, emotion, and community. Alternative club and live acts are given the spotlight to explore the smoky, hidden corners of the underground. From DJs, hybrid sets, and full live chaos, emerging experimental artists will find refuge on Melkweg’s stage, embracing the niche and unusual from sunset to sunrise.

Enchanting the space, Burst City will open with post-punk selector Chalice Is A Witch, followed by the live distorted industrial noise of poetic artist Acidic Male. Gothy glam goodness follows with an eccentric live performance by IDLEYES, setting the scene for LS.GATEKEEPER‘s punky garage rock to mosh onto the stage. Celebrating rising stars, dark electronic artists Mila V and Kris Baha will both present new music. Winding into the morning’s early dusky hours, a DJ set by Zanias with live vocals and Parrish Smith’s energetic tracks will bring Burst City’s gates to a close — for now.

Experience what Amsterdam’s underground has to offer this Saturday, September 13th at Burst City: For all Colours Living Out of Space at Melkweg.
