Join the fantasy!
Charlotte Knowles spring/summer collection is fresh as a daisy! Their nostalgic 70’s inspired flower prints and flared trousers make us ever so reminiscent of the (almost returning) warm weather and endless festivals… But, until we can finally step out into the sunshine again, their funky and flirty tops are the perfect simulating solution. Now, if you’re not totally subscribed to our summer fantasy land- Knowles has you covered, adding to the collection a variety of camel coloured suede coats and cowboy(ish) cropped jackets (whichever you prefer).
The designers behind the young London based brand – Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault – have not been sitting still! For this spring/summer campaign, they balanced out sensuality with sophistication – and added in a splash of joyous energy to the mix as well. The duo, more than ever before, has been focussing on craftsmanship and a slower, more qualitative production process. This has sprouted a very uplifting collection, curing our worned down hearts due to lockdowns and icy temperatures.
Knowles and Arsenault have collaborated with renowned photographer Harley Weir for this campaign, resulting in the trippy and electric video ‘Petals’. The cool yet colorful lookbook motivates us to stay optimistic: yes, we can still create our own fun through the art of self-expression – no matter the day and age we live in.
Sheer textures, sexy cuts and eloquently finished shapes are what the emerging brand has been known for, so it’s no surprise they form the foundation of this collection as well! Topping it all off with a pointy heel and the designers’ brand new statement handbags, we are ready to dip our toes into the water!
