Collab of the decade?

Fenty and ASAI launch a “big boss” energy collection and we’re here for it.

Two of our favourites decided to collab and it’s as (if not more) iconic as when God united Adam and Eve in the first recorded marriage from the Bible. Which is to say, today’s the release of Fenty’s first ever collaboration, and it’s with none other than British-Vietnamese fashion designer A Sai Ta. The latter’s brand, ASAI, references Asian iconography and the clubbing phase of Ta’s sisters, with the designer’s “Hot Wok” top becoming the “It” item of 2019. About the collab with RiRi, Ta told British Vogue that the 24-piece City Bloom collection is “all about championing big boss energy,” and has been inspired by the streets and “the real girls” both Ta and Rihanna know and love. Honestly, we’re in fashion tears and currently booking a trip to London, where the collection drops exclusively at Selfridges.
