Coperni Fall '21

Somewhere in the outskirts of Paris, located at the giant Accor Arena, 36 electric cars lit up the drive, err… runway, ready for Coperni’s FW ’21 collection. In a momentous showcase, Coperni’s creative director and founder Sèbastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant created art reminiscent of the pre-pandemic interactive fashion shows we love and miss (but made corona-proof). Et voilà! The duo has completely reinvented our idea of a ‘drive-in’, as 28 glimmering looks strolled amongst the crowds of cars on the stadium’s pavement last night.

We can’t help but feel melancholic over (Parisian) nightlife whilst the Coperni party attires flash by…. This collection has all the ingredients for a fabulous get-together: black leather jeans, silver-studded thigh-high boots, cornflower blue minidresses and froggy green heels. But, there’s no festive attire without some party powered accessories, right? Meyer and Vaillant have been expanding their bag collection – a range of designs we can match with all areas of our lives. Our eyes are glued to the funky apple green and bubblegum pink micro baguette swipe bag (the embodiment of eye-candy)! The duo has a sharp eye for minimalistic glamour whilst keeping it fresh and fun – never ceases to amaze! Using faux fur and apple leather as cruelty-free substitutes, Coperni shows us the highroad to the future of fashion- and looking sickening in the meantime.

We’ll see what next fall will bring us, but don’t mind if you see us strolling down the supermarket, head to toe in Coperni.
