DAILY PAPER'S PROTECT PARADISE

Honouring the sublime environment and community of Mauritius

Daily Paper’s new capsule collection, titled Protect Paradise, is a celebration of Mother Nature herself (I mean, Earth Day of course ;)). Embodying the spirit of the African island Mauritius, the collection honours both the sublime environment on the island and the greatness of the efforts by the community to protect it. Due to the climate threats (which have been immediately felt on the island) the inhabitants have grown into world leaders in the field of environmental conservation. Daily Paper – in their classicly unique and relevant way – has teamed up with the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation, an NGO committed to restoring the island’s ecosystem. So get your wallet out – if you haven’t spent all your money on their last collection –  because the brand is donating a portion of profits directly to the foundation.

The collection itself is full of must-have-summer-staples, from bucket hats, swim shorts, and co-ord sets with rainforest prints, to jerseys and bags in warm earth tones that resemble the island. Further mirroring the spirit of the land, the collection has been produced with sustainable production methods and eco-materials. Every detail is thought out, with screen printed jerseys with natural dyes and biodegradable hangtags and polytags – Brava Daily Paper, you hit the mark once again. A highlight for us also has to be the Pooley Varsity Jacket, a classic varsity cut in black with Protect Paradise patches all over.
