DKMNTL SATURDAY: SUN, CINNAMAN AND MADNESS BY MIRAN

History and Happiness

Today was lit. A line up from heaven, with sets beyond earth. The day started strong with a ginger shot and a whole lot of water after yesterday (not feeling 18 no-more) before entering the Jayda G’s stratosphere. After her iconic — and highly viral — Boiler Room set at the last Dekmantel, we couldn’t wait to hear what’s to come, and with the Main Stage as her sanctum, she threw us a whole lot of house, soul and a hint of RnB. Other highlights of the day included a truly mind-blowing set from Mad Miran who quickly became a fan favourite of the weekend, alongside Amsterdam’s Cinnaman and his elite selects, before heading back to the main stage for Octa Octa and Eris Drew. The duo, as always, brought pure love and joy to the stage — channelling back into the audience’s energy with every carefully selected rave track. Our night ended with a little piece of history — witnessing the incredible DJ EZ round up the UK Garage troops into The Nest. Pulling, teasing and weaving the audience with tracks such as A little bit of luck, Lethal Bizzle’s Pow! and the absolutely heart-racer, goose pump-inducer, serotonin hit that is Freed From Desire. It was the perfect day, ending on a high only DJ EZ and a room full of garage-heads could curate.

We are pumped up and ready for Sunday, so stay tuned!
