DKMNTL SUNDAY: THE FINAL SHOW

It was serene and the perfect way to end a perfect week

The final day arrived, and it was time to go out with a bang: starting the day off with the queen of analogue techno, Helena Hauff. At the UFOI Hauff set the scene for this Sunday: deep, dark and exceptionally heavy. This was a day full of icons — new and established — as we flitted around the trees of Het Bos between the São Paolo electronics from Cashu and Badsista to the Amsterdam trailblazers of Antal and Hunee at The Greenhouse. Today we danced, we even sang and saw a collection of DJ’s from across the globe (Including the incredible UNiiQU3 for our Jersey club fix). We ended the night and weekend by heading back to our roots, witnessing the work of VTSS for a second time — purely because the first Boiler Room set was so good — before delving into the world of Herensauna. The collective played a whopping four-hour set of radical techno to a liberated crowd. It was serene and the perfect way to end a perfect week. Shout out to Dekmantel for once again bringing us another summer of spectacular listens, and see you next year!
