Explore photographic history with Paris Photo

Paris Photo has released their virtual showroom; dig deep and find a gem!

Feng Li, Acrobatics, 2019

Right now, the world can feel like it’s hit pause, but when it comes to art this doesn’t have to be the case. Every cloud has a silver lining (cheesy but true) and studios, galleries and museums across the world have found it by releasing their collections online. One of these contributors is the highly anticipated Paris Photo. After the cancellation of its New York fair, the team buckled up and launched its Online Viewing Room, supporting its exhibitors (and its buyers) beyond the corona-fuelled borders we face! The archive displays 1,200 photographic works with artists such as Diane Arbus, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Ming Smith being featured. Expect history to unfold through photography, as we see historic events captured, as well as nostalgic glimpses into the world we hope to return to. Check out Paris Photo’s website to see the full selection, because if one thing is for certain, you’re sure to find a gem!
