FASHIONCLASH X GLAMCULT

This November, FASHIONCLASH will be hosting the 14th edition of its highly loved (and much-anticipated) festival. This year, FASHIONCLASH Festival will offer a platform for performances, showcases, screenings and presentations including an exhibition. FASHIONCLASH Festival will be exhibiting under the title: New Fashion Narratives, an exploration into the current generation of designers, performers, and artists, “who see fashion as a mission”. By exploring the depths of their discipline, pushing the boundaries and critically considering social systems, the talent under New Fashion Narratives is set to be a curation of exceptional talent.

This year, GLAMCULT has been named co-curators of the exhibition! This honour – and exciting opportunity – is one we wish to share with our community, and will therefore be holding an open call for creatives. Alongside exhibiting at the FASHIONCLASH exhibition, those selected will also be featured on GLAMCULT’s platform, where we deep dive further into their artistic prowess and vision. Alongside the exhibition, FASHIONCLASH is also hosting an open call for the following two other categories: Fashion Film & Video, and an Open Mic Night. Do you, or someone you know, traverse between the trans-disciplinary disciplines of fashion, special design, and art? Is the investigation into the relationship between the user and consumer something you are fascinated by? Then make sure you apply here!

The exhibition and work will be presented at Bureau Europa and Marres in Maastricht during the FASHIONCLASH Festival weekend, and the creatives selected will also feature on Glamcult’s platform. The Open Call for all three categories will be open till 1st July 2022, and the exhibition will take place between the 25th and the 27th of November 2022.
