On June 6, the FKA twigs universe arrives in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. Dear reader, civilization may in fact depend on this sort of thing.
With Body High, techno and bodily excess circulate freely through skin, breath, movement, and of course, twigs’ iconic discography. Fresh off EUSEXUA Afterglow, FKA twigs continues her ongoing campaign against emotional containment, translating rave euphoria into something intimate enough to bruise.
It barely needs any explanation that we’re ready to see all of her worlds come to life: the devotional ache of MAGDALENE, the libidinal rupture of EUSEXUA, the strange sugar-high we got from CAPRISONGS… It’s safe to say we have high expectations for this concert. And we haven’t even addressed the choreography that is to come, let alone the looks.
