A light that never goes out
Glamcult TV and Salmari present ‘Beyond The Dark’, a series of four episodes unearthing a selection of DJs and producers who embody the spirit of radical nightlife. This series was born from Glamcult TV’s and Salmari’s shared obsession with the unknown and a desire to explore the fringes of the night. Beyond The Dark brings together underground talent who aren’t afraid to experiment: Shimmy Robin from Hamburg, STYN and Doppelgang from Amsterdam, and Neri J from Copenhagen.
Beyond the Dark is an invitation to the unseen, feverdreamish corners of nightlife. Here, the night expands, fractures, surprises, and blooms. Let go. Move freely. Collide with the unexpected. Glamcult TV and Salmari are your companions, guiding you through the imperfect, the untamed, the exhilarating. Beyond the Dark, there is a light that never goes out. These are the artists that keep going when the world falls asleep, right where night melts into dawn:

STYN
Somewhere between a glitchy bootleg and a blown-out YouTube instrumental, you’ll find STYN: a producer who’s spent years reshaping the dark corners of sound. For Beyond the Dark, STYN offers a look into his sound. Starting with hip-hop beats in 2008, detouring through dubstep, bubbling and house, and landing right back where he started – sharper, stranger, and more dialled-in than ever. His credits range from Chief Keef to Juice WRLD, but it’s his post-COVID edits – clubby, gritty, glitchy – that really caught fire, sneaking into DJ sets and turning heads offline. Now with his own club night Nachtwinkel and bookings from London to Amsterdam, Styn’s proving he’s not one to miss.

Doppelgang
Doppelgang don’t overthink it: they just know how to throw down. The Amsterdam twins have been playing together since 2012, and for Beyond the Dark, they invite you into their world: sweaty, unfiltered, and a little bratty. By now, they know their way around a dancefloor, whether it’s de School, Lowlands’ Adonis stage, or a Pornceptual basement at 4am. Their sets blend cheeky vocals, old-school drums, and just the right amount of chaos. They make sure they’re always bringing heat, humour, and a lot of sweat.

Shimmy Robin
Shimmy Robin knows how to keep a room moving without showing off about it. For Beyond the Dark, she takes us into the shadows with her. From the sweaty floor of Golden Pudel to bigger systems like Tresor and PAL, her sets are tight, tactile, and full of rhythm-forward sounds that don’t rush but never drag. Between her duo project shimmy chanel with DJ Fako and co-running blipmotif, she’s deep in the club world. Booking friends, testing tracks, and building nights that feel good in your body before your brain catches up. No gimmicks, just really good taste and a steady hand on the decks.

Neri J
Pulse onto the dancefloor with Copenhagen’s very own Neri J. As a DJ and producer, Neri J transports her listeners from 80s Detroit to London’s Printworks all in one night, bringing in beats of OG techno, acid house, and trance. Through her genre-bending mixes, Neri J keeps the crowd on their toes — from lightly flowing to two-stepping in the same set. For Beyond The Dark, expect deep cuts and club classics stringing together an electrifying musical journey into Neri’s smoky sonic portal. Dance, transcend, hop on for the ride.
