How Many Years

Clothes for Progress collaborates with Dutch illustrator and author Mylo Freeman to present “How Many Years”

Tomorrow in Amsterdam, Clothes for Progress will be launching their latest collaboration with the incredible Dutch illustrator and author Mylo Freeman. Raising money to support Hivos and the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, the pairing has created a collection of protest bandanas with the goal to help move us towards gender equality and inclusion, focusing in large on the human rights of Black transgender individuals. Featuring the entire LGBTQIA+ rainbow, half of the bandanas are printed with the highly impactful Marsha P. Johnson “How Many Years…”quote, highlighting the continued power behind the words in today’s world. The other half features the work of Mylo Freeman, showing a healing hand with a heart in the middle, created to represent the notion that love is inside of us all. Both designs are impactful and powerful within their simplicity, dedicating themselves to the fact that no one is free until we all are free.

The bandanas will be launching this Thursday and will be available at A Flag. Alongside the bandanas, there will also be three limited-edition overprinted pride flags available. So make sure to get down asap and support the cause!
