Finally, a love song for the dead and alive 😉
In Kiddy Smile’s latest music video, Dis-moi que tu m’aimes (Tell me that you love me), the French DJ and all-around artist creates a nocturnal fantasy where desire bleeds out erotic, tender, and feral. Bodies brushing in the dark, fangs grazing the line between temptation and surrender.
The video finds Kiddy stripped back from the artist’s usual maximalist glam. Open to being hunted, Kiddy assumes the position of prey, standing still and sincere as his (of course, glittery) blood pools out around him. No armour, no distance: just a fragile beauty yearning to be loved between layers of echoing hypnotic electronics. Swaying between pulsating house adjacent beats, Dis-moi que tu m’aimes’s vampiric seduction underscores that love’s precious duality: What does love consume? What does love reveal?
