Our Epic Summer Playlist

Affirm the success of your summer by listening to our Spotify playlist.

September has started, and as the summer comes to a close, we’re frankly not ready to say goodbye. Hot girl summer lasted a solid four days, but whether it was practicing tik tok dances to LVL1, or strolling through the city streets listening to Yves Tumor, our summer playlist has been specifically curated to keep your epic summer memories alive. The post-lockdown period brought with it an influx of creativity and it was too much to resist curating the tracks with took our breath away. Let’s keep the party going and re-radicalise these tracks

Say what you might about Kanye West and his Donda release event (I’m choosing… not to say anything..), but you cannot deny that all eyes were on him this summer following his departure from the Kardashian clan and the anticipation for his new release. West gives us a bit of old-Kanye following his last release, ‘Jesus is King’, and The Weeknd’s hook on ‘Hurricane’ takes us back to simpler times :’). On a less controversial note, we also can’t stop ourselves from dancing along to Peggy Gou’s new single, ‘I Go’, and its punchy electronic beats. And for when your summer has finally reached its boiling point, we offer you some experimental, avant-folk with Spellling’s ‘Boys at School’ from her June album ‘The Turning Wheel’ – guiding you through any and all phases of potential summer vibes. One thing is certain: regardless of your post-lockdown summer shenanigans, these new releases were produced to envoke some truly radical moves.
