A monumental return in support of India’s Covid-19 relief efforts
The iconic Bradford underground rave, Daytimers, has returned to the live-event universe! The party – first established in the 80s (following straight through to the height of the 90s) – was created by and for the South Asian party-goers of England’s, West Yorkshire. Looking for a feeling of home and a like-minded community, daytimers became a staple spot to be immersed within the sounds and culture of Southern Asia…and also a space free from the beady eye of concerned parents. Today, she’s back and revived, heading down south to London’s Colour Factory for a day-long charity event responding to India’s harrowing Covid-19 devastation. Hosting a heavy line-up, Manuka Honey, DEBONAIR, Ahadadream (and many more), the event will be hosted by the gal’ on all our SoundCloud fave lists’ – Jyoty.
Taking place May 23rd, both in-person (if you’re lucky enough to be in London right now), as well as via a live stream on Daytimers’ Twitch. All proceeds from the event (just £10 a ticket), will be going to the Hemkunt Foundation and India’s Trans Queer Hijra Intersex community.
Either tune in or turn up, because this is a moment you don’t want to miss.
