Riding the waves of style

Offshore, the latest collection from Amsterdams Surf Association

Amsterdam-based brand, New Amsterdam Surf Association, have officially taken us into the Autumn Winter months with their latest collection, Offshore. Continuing their journey, they have introduced us to their biggest collection yet, expanding their line of clothing and accessories. Perfect for off-shore ( literally ) this new ‘AW’ collection is the ideal addition to your wardrobes for not only this season , but for all year- round. A great brand when it comes to creating clothes that successfully build an adaptable and interchangeable wardrobe. This collection has been designed to offer a glimpse into a ’typical day in our lives’ by incorporating elements of the modern, contemporary style of the city and bringing it to the coast.

Captured on the stunning shores of Bordetitz, France, the NASA gang are dressed exclusively in materials such as Offshore knit, repreve, and lycra remaining true to their fisherman roots. The earliest fisherman sweaters were handmade using lambswool dating all the way back to the late 1800s to provide no other motive but to keep fishermen warm overseas… Now we can be both functional and stylish – god I love style’s evolution.

Our personal favourite? The black and white double-up-crew knit. Whilst being a typical design for ‘sailors’ – the choice of knit is both practical and current; what with the drop shoulder silhouette and striped print, Offshore have taken casual beach attire to the next level. We love! Similarly, the brand’s funky patterned hats and jackets have taken an exciting turn – still sensible and wearable ( of course! ) but with both eye-catching and up to date silhouettes and colours.

By far our favourite New Amsterdam Surf Association drop yet. You can shop the collection here.
