Canada Goose and Y/Project join forces to revive the ultimate winter parka.
You know us: we’ve always been the biggest cheerleaders for Paris-based fashion label Y/Project. But after their AW20 presentation of an outerwear collaboration with Canada Goose, the cheer has only gotten louder (if that’s even possible). We saw the collection drop on the runway in Paris last month, reinventing the classic winter parker and balancing the traditional practicalities of Canada Goose with the signature Y/Project asymmetry, colour, and whimsical proportions. The resulting creation is a distorted yet high-fashion joining of forces. The line is made up of six unisex pieces, including parkas, sweaters and beanies, which all beckon the street-wear vulture into its thick layer of warmth this winter. The collection’s subtle nod to the early ’00s, in combination with the oversized, enveloping fit, is by no means ground-breaking, but in this year of flashback-fashion, it certainly provides us everything we need (and more) in an outerwear look.

The collaboration will be available worldwide in November 2020.
