"The Future of Trans Politics" at CinemAsia film festival

An evening of empowerment and unconditional love.

This week in Amsterdam, film festival CinemAsia will showcase brilliant and beautiful works with the mission to bring visibility and celebrate culture within the Asian film industry. Among their varied programme—which is not film-exclusive—an event that we’re extra excited for is the panel discussion on “The Future of Trans Politics”. CinemAsia joins forces with the Filipino LGBT society and Trans United/ Trans BPOC to outline the current political situation affecting trans communities within both the USA and the Philippines. Paneling the event are Kaye Candaza, Raymond Unico and Alejandra Ortiz, a team we anticipate will open even more eyes, minds and hearts to the reality of life as a member of the trans community. The discussion will also be moderated by the renowned board member of Transgender Network Netherlands, Alex Kain, and is set to be an evening of empowerment and unconditional love. See you there for a screening, chat and a drink!
