Slagwerk: DJH/ Rat Section/ Soraya & Dmitra at Recyclart, Brussels – Feb 13th
Internet indietronica rockers come together under the stars as peaking underground label and event series Slagwerk brings Kölner DJH and London performance music act Rat Section to Recyclart. If you and your date have been sleeping on DJH, it’s time to wake up. Headbanging and tooth-knocking out, DJH’s productions are a standout from his similarly leather-jacketed counterparts, frazzling key tones and reverberations made for 2016-Madeon level graces. Known for their site-specific performances, a Rat Section show is different every night. A sonic cleanse before lovers’ day fully kicks off. Come with open ears and an open heart.

Loidis, Oceanic/ BAR40 with <3 <3 <3 valentines special at Garage Noord, Amsterdam – Feb 14th
Fill your heart with Loidis’s delightful ambient dub and Oceanic’s hypnotic loops at Garage Noord. If a hug is too far out of reach, Loidis’s smooth eardrum massaging textures may just do the trick (go ahead, hug the speakers, I won’t judge). Paired with a rumbling mad line-up upstairs at Bar40, local legends like dirtydms and Helmond Lang will keep the good vibes flowing all night long.

Impress your betrothed with your oh-so well-rounded taste.
