In search of a good boot? A goofy boot? A classic boot, a waterproof boot, a fashionable boot… The options are endless, and the SSENSE pages can seem infinite and overwhelming. What do we even focus on? Tall boots, chunky boots, sock boots, silly boots, slouchy boots, fluffy boots, cowboy boots, lace-up boots… It’s a minefield of great shoes out there. At this point, the algorithm is laughing at us. So we made a long, lovingly curated list. It’s delicious, and it might just save your winter wardrobe from becoming the same rotation of sad sneakers and crisis-weather compromises.
R13 Buckled-Up Slouch Cowboy Boot: All the best things coming together—cowboy Coachella vibes doubled down with indie sleaze.
Loewe Bobby Boot: A “pick me up by the bootstraps” taken literally. Crafted with a built-in handle cut-out, it has some tool-belt energy to it. A boot for when you want to look like you could renovate a house and walk a runway in the same afternoon.
Rombaut Rage Boots: Boots where the nose turns upwards as if you just kicked a wall out of anger; even the sole flips upwards. The look: angry.
KIKO KOSTADINOV Proxima Low Ballerina Boots: these are practically a mandatory uniform. The oatmeal–pale-pink colourway taps directly into the palette we’ve been living in all year—soft, slightly strange, and perfectly curated.
URTE KAT Hofa Knee High Buckle Boots: Internet girlies, assemble. This Lithuanian label has been quietly dominating with collections that feel ripped from our moodboards, and these boots are no exception. Strong and wide with a hint of ballerina-core energy—only twisted, toughened, and made better.
Miista Emile Boots: For baddies and office sirens alike—pointy, witchy, slim lace-up boots.
BHIVE Drago Boots: Duck-footed silliness meets sleek, modern refinement with animal references worthy of Schiaparelli.
Ugg JLD Boot: We all love a comfy Ugg. But add a Vibram sole, and the dudes start foaming at the mouth. Suddenly, the cozy classic gets a tactical upgrade: chunkier, tougher, and ready for actual pavement. Channel himbo-meets-hiker energy with these.
Jacquemus Yeti Boot: A collaboration with Moonboot. Two years ago the massive fluffy-boot trend had us in a chokehold, and though we were saturated at the time, we’re kind of ready to embrace these again, if worn with caution and not… everyone.
Moon Boot Brown Icon Fleece Boots: A Christmas classic with brown, fuzzy, cozy teddy-bear fleece. Less practical? Maybe. More cute? Definitely.
Balenciaga Alaska Faux Shearling Boots: An alternative, Balenciagafied take on the Ugg—gigantic, blatantly out of proportion, and stuffed with shearling to keep your footsies cozy AF. Make any look a showstopper with mega-boots like these.
Timberland Stone Street 6-Inch Boot: This waterproof boot is a black, minimalist take on a classic. 2026 will be hipster-ised—mark my words. Get the flannel before everyone else realises we’ll be chopping wood in Timberlands sooner rather than later.
Converse x Vaquera: Another indie-sleaze contender. 2026 will probably be full of the classics—All Stars, Uggs, Timberlands, Dr. Martens… and this Vaquera take on the Chuck Taylor makes them knee-high (but not in the cringy goth-knee-high-All-Stars way). Combined with some slouch and a wedge, we’re absolutely here for it.
Fidan Novruzova Havva Chunky-Heel Tall Plissé Boots: Ready to kick some ass in the new year? This boot will help you do so with the power of a square toe and a slouched shaft.
Dr. Martens x Rick Owens Steel Toe Boots: The revolution might not be televised, but classic boots WILL be revived this year. Get the iconic collaboration between two of our favourite bootmakers. More laces? Fewer problems.
The Attico Robin Passeggiata Boots: Suede, double-layered, classic yet unique—everything good in one boot. The double flap gives a slightly piratey vibe: sturdy and perfect if you’re leaning into that wide white slouchy ope blouse look this year.
Camperlab Caramba Blue Boots: Looking for a silly, standout boot? Camperlab is always your friend. A hysterical turquoise colourway amps up any outfit, and the bubble sole will have you bouncing through the winter days. No daylight lamp or vitamin D necessary—just the boots, please.
Bottega Veneta Domenica Boots: Cozy-core at its finest. If you love that pyjama-socks-fireplace combo and want to bring that energy to the function, these are your go-to. A fully knitted, literal sock boot with a leather sole means they’re fine for outside—puddles excluded (in our educated guess).
