On top of being a model and drag queen, Josh has claimed their space on the internet as a TikTok star. Natty, alongside his OnlyFans, gives us the NYC TikTok food blogging that we all need. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with - basically, if you haven’t noticed we’re obsessed.

AMSTERDAM FACES: MIE

Next up in the new Amsterdam Faces series, highlighting upcoming creatives in the Netherlands, we invited Mie to chat about art, finding your passion and corny quotes. Originally from Stavanger, Norway, the 22-year old currently lives in Amsterdam studying Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. After just having some of her work exhibited at the renowned Stedelijk Museum, we felt like this was the perfect timing to get to know the young artist better.

LOEWE SS23 MENSWEAR

Breaking news: Loewe has entered the posthuman. But before we really get into that, a little posthuman philosophy refresher is in order. Put very simply, posthumanism is the idea that there are no longer distinctions between humans, technology, and the organic living world. Instead, the three are interwoven - and over here at Glamcult, we think it's a pretty compelling philosophy. Okay, now back Loewe.

SACAI SS23 MENSWEAR

Dear Chitose Abe, thank you. Sacai SS23 Menswear is an absolute gift from the Sacai house. Abe took her signature styles and designs and spliced them up to give us this refreshing yet familiar collection. The newness of it starts with the use of Loro Piana Storm System wool and Thomas Mason cotton - fabrics that are known for their timelessness and anti-trendness. Using these fabrics, she masterfully pulls on classical mens and womens tailoring to create a collection that transcends really any label.

COURRÈGES SS23 MENSWEAR

It's hot, it’s contemporary, it's Courrèges SS23 Menswear. In the concise energy of 16 looks, Nicolas di Felice perfectly captures the ethos that founder Andre Courrèges started back in the ‘60s. Using a vintage scuba jacket designed by Courrèges as a starting point, di Felice explains how when he discovered it in the archives he knew there was no reason to reinvent the wheel - and we’re here for his scuba summer. He mixed this with a biker vibe - explaining the moto pants - as the combination evoked nostalgia of him driving to the beach on his motorcycle. It is this spirit that we’ve always loved about the brand, its intimate honesty always shines through in its minimalist designs.

MARINE SERRE SS23 MENSWEAR

We have to talk about the elephant in the room AKA Marine Serre. Let’s set the scene. We’re on a sports field where a 400 metre track acts as the runway. The guests included the usual industry insiders but also thousands of lucky public guests who scored tickets. The models ranged from literal athletes to friends to professional and amateur models. They walked around the circuit in groups that aligned with the chapters of the collection. The show totally mimicked a sporting jamboree and to be honest, we kind of love it.

ACNE STUDIOS SS23 MENSWEAR

As you all know by now, we love Acne Studios. Every season Jonny Johansson mystifies us with cultural commentary and self reflections - and designs just some darn amazing clothes. This SS23 Menswear collection expands the Acne world to occasionwear, more specifically, Johansson cleverly rethinks wedding-wear. Why? He shares that at his own wedding he initially wanted to unconventionally wear white but got cold feet and wore the traditional black garb. Reminded of this, he reflected…

MEET THE KABK FASHION GRADUATES

We have one thing to say about this year’s KABK Fashion and Textile graduates: wow. But really, this year we were - extra - blown away by not only the Fashion & Textile graduates, but by everyone’s presentation - from shows to exhibition there was always something inspiring going on. Although showing in person with a level of normalcy – as normal as the world can be these days – the fluid nature of today’s society was ever-present in their work. Exemplifying this year’s theme, EXPOSED, the students dug deep into themselves, to poetically relate, rebel, question, and imagine through their designs.

A rectification of Wagner's legendary opera

There's nothing quite like the eclectic programming of this year's 75th edition of the Holland Festival. From club nights at Melkweg, performances by the legendary Angelique Kidjo to a contemporary rectification of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen. The original work -- a cycle of four epic German dramas -- has been given a reboot, digging deeper into the discussions of racism, gender and identity that the piece conjures. Exploring the hunger for power, Wagner's original distinguishments between 'creatures' has been reflected upon by the writer Necati Öziri and director Christopher Rüping in this adaption, giving a voice to the stories left aside.
