James Massiah joins the Zoom call on a bike, coffee in one hand, phone in the other. Fragments of London flash by, jagged, disjointed, buzzing in grey – reminding me of the texture of Massiah’s music. He cuts through the streets with a deliberate momentum, an urgency wrapped in ease, like it’s just another verse in his stream-of-consciousness sermon. Read More

It is not a surprise that Dr. Martens and NYC brand MadeMe partnered up once more after the magic they conjured up with their previous 1461 Steel toe collection. We couldn’t get enough of them last year, and this summer’s drop promises to be just as addictive. This time around, we’re spoiled to a fresh dose of rebellious energy with the debut of Dr. Martens’ latest collaboration: bold, edgy, unapologetically feminine — everything we’ve come to know MadeMe for. Birthed is a Buzz with rounded silhouettes that fuses MadeMe’s girls-girl grit with Dr. Martens’ punk heritage and middle-finger-in-the-air attitude.Read More

NAVALHA came out of us – two amigas, Alfredo & Barros, both born and raised in Brazil, who met through Amsterdam’s queer nightlife. What started as late-night conversations and shared dance floors grew into an urge to create something of our own. Faced with the lack of political queer Latin American representation in the city’s club scene, we set out to carve a space rooted in care, resistance, and sound. During her last visit to Amsterdam, we sat down with Deize Tigrona in a rare moment of exchange that unfolded into a conversation and a photoshoot. Both were directed and produced by our collective as a way to spark new dialogues, open portals, and carve space for future encounters.Read More

On June 20th, KABK’s new generation of designers will present their crafts in full vigor at the Exposed show in The Hague. Needless to say, KABK being one of the Dutch institutions with a steadfast hold on some of the greatest designer names. “My butthole is sweating,” was the verbatim proclamation I distinctly remember overhearing as I was exiting a sweltering concert of Deki Alem a while back. The rest of the crowd carried a similar air around them: sticky, euphoric, simultaneously worn-out and energised. This is the Deki Alem experience in a nutshell – a sonic explosion that leaves no one untouched. Read More

The Mostro is back, and it's the sneaker's boldest revival yet. PUMA’s cult-favourite – once an underground gem for sneakerheads in the know – has stepped back into the spotlight with a wild streak and a fresh new face: Amelia Gray. PUMA’s Mostro sneaker has always defied convention – a hybrid of '60s sprint spikes and '80s surf shoes, wrapped in a silhouette that’s as much streetwear as it is subculture. Read More
