As things are beginning to looking up again, we are pumped to learn that the Rotterdam club scene will soon gain a new family member! BIT, a multipurpose club and creative center for all kinds of electronic music lovers, is working hard to open its doors next July. The club is set to be an intimate yet spacious space, giving room for artistic experimentation spanning all the niches. The eccentric and immersive place, once known as an erotic plaza, will also be accompanied by a brand new restaurant!
BIT’s identity will be visualized by graphic designer Lara Bruggeman, its composition and infrastructure by Stijn van Aardenne and Gido Cuppens, the light installation by Nick Mansveld, and its sound system by Tony Netten. Bit by bit (pun intended), the creative breeding ground is steadily taking shape, but this talented team relies on our help to fully realize it! Three thousand tickets are on sale for the first eight opening events, until July 6th. The strategy? It’s simple: the more tickets BIT sells, the better the quality of the venue! The club was meant to open sooner, but when miss Rona came along, the banks became less generous, leaving BIT to launch a fundraiser. The ticket is worth every penny, as the promising line-up already pays up for it: a noble list filled with artists like David Funk, Spekki Webu, Nelly Dragon, Oceanic and Woody92 (only to name a few)… The club is hoping to open up in September, so be fast, because the first half is already sold out!
