The poised quietness of Ziggy Chen’s SS27 collection rests somewhere between ambience and purpose, or ‘AMBIEPOSE’ as this season’s title suggests. A neologism evocative of cricket chants, swaying wheat ears, and pastoral tranquility, the matte and delicately wrinkled garments look as if they were left to dry outdoors in a warm summer breeze.
