This week Europe’s biggest launch party for the Mugler H&M collection went down in Berlin put together by yours truly at Glamcult! Taking place on the outskirts of the city, a fusion of music and fashion took over the night as we celebrated this iconic collaboration. Rapper Tommy Ca$h headlined, while the Mugler H&M collection itself was presented in a curated exhibition space (think mannequins on ice alongside an insane light installation by artist Nick Verstand). Bringing together Berlin’s insiders and fellow “Muglerians”, the party went throughout the night with sets from VTSS, Toccororo, and Chippy Nonstop, alongside a live performance from performer and producer Zebra Katz. The night was a tribute to Mugler’s theatrical and extravagant style, from its early days under Thierry Mugler to its current creative direction under Casey Cadwallader. Capturing the event, and the fabulous attendees, photographers Esmerelda Engels and Merel Daantje take you on the tour through Glamcult’s eyes. The Mugler collection drops at H&M’s global online shop and in select stores on May 11th, so you can cop the pieces for yourself.
